Introduction

This is the main website of Foley Consulting, a privately owned consulting organization. We specialize in the fields:

Our starting rate is USD 100/hr, but this can vary a bit depending upon the job and currency. We currently have offices in Reykjavik (Iceland), Salem (New Hampshire, USA), and Prague (Czech Republic). Email us if you are interested: foley-consulting at objid.net. Dr. Foley's current main focus is with Dr. Sangbae Kim of MIT in the Biomimetic Robotics Lab. We are investigating and simulating high-performance composite structural components for his high speed quadraped robots.

Foley Consulting is also currently collaborating with Sruli Recht of Vopnabúríð "The Armory" on rapid prototyping technology methods for his special blend of non-product design art in Iceland.

Foley Consulting has active involvement in the Hakkavélin and Lorna Lab rapid prototyping clubs in Reykjavik. We are under contract for translation work with Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague.

  1. Get on an Icelandair or Delta plane to Keflavik (KEF).
  2. Take the Flybus to Reykjavik. They will take you to BSÍ
  3. Walk to the nearest street across the parking lot and and the 14 Stræ going to Grandi (the Docks). Grandi should be on the far right of the bus schedule at the bus stop. If not, you're on the wrong side of the street. Take the bus all the way to the end.
  4. Look for Hólmaslóð 4. It is a U-shaped building with the big VOPNABÚRÍÐ sign. We are near Brimrun/Furuno which makes boating equipment. Use the door with Brimrun above it (and advertisements for JohannG) to get to our stairwell
  5. On the second floor turn left past the Brimrun showroom, and enter a small corridor. We are the second door on the right directly across from the kitchen.

  1. Get to I-93. Head towards the southern tip of NH.
  2. Get off at Exit 1, Salem NH.
  3. Follow the various ramps past the big mall
  4. When you hit a stoplight that lets you turn right onto a big road, do so. There is a Border's bookstore there.
  5. At the next light, turn right. The Salem Animal hospital will be on your left.
  6. Go straight for a while. You should pass the Rockingham mall on your right.
  7. At the light near Soule school, continue straight.
  8. After crossing a bridge over I-93, turn right.
  9. Go straight for a while until you get to Golden Oaks
  10. Turn Left, go up the hill
  11. Turn left at Ticklefancy Lane
  12. It's the house on the left as the road bears right. Its next to a lake and has a huge garden. Look for the "Feng Shui Garden" sign.

Backup Software and High Availability Systems
